Regenerative Farming Volunteer Certificate Program
Looking to build real skills, connect with the community, and be part of something meaningful? The Outsiders Volunteer Program at Earthwise Agassiz is a hands-on pathway into regenerative farming, local food systems, and community-based learning. Training can be done on a drop-in basis, but registration in the program is required. REGISTER HERE!
When: Every 2nd Saturday or any Tuesday
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Where: Earthwise Agassiz, 6031 Golf Rd.
Each session blends practical training with connection and shared experience. You’ll spend time in the garden learning by doing, then slow down together over tea and food, building relationships and community. This is a reciprocal model: you contribute your time and energy, and in return gain food, skills, knowledge, and community.
What You’ll Gain:
• Hands-on regenerative farming skills (soil building, planting, composting, seed saving, and more)
• Experience working within biodynamic and permaculture systems
• Knowledge of local food economies and community food systems
• Access to a shared volunteer garden—grow food and take it home
• A supportive, social environment rooted in collaboration and learning
• FREE access to 3 core workshops
Training Pathway:
Volunteers can complete a Regenerative Farming Certificate, built through 7 x 3-hour training sessions and participation in three CORE WORKSHOPS. This creates a foundation for future opportunities in regenerative agriculture, farming, and food system work.
Led by Emily:
A teacher at Earthwise specializing in biodynamics, permaculture, and local food systems, guiding participants through both the practical, social, economical and ecological principles behind the work. This isn’t just volunteering: it’s learning, growing, and actively rebuilding local food systems together. Come get your hands in the soil!
