Organic Gardening 101: March 7, 11- 12
This workshop introduces the fundamentals of starting your own organic garden. We’ll cover what organic gardening is all about, including soil health, environmental and health benefits, basic garden design, crop selection, and more.
Planning Your Growing Season: March 14, 11-12
Learn how to plan your garden for success. This session focuses on mapping out your growing space, choosing the right plants for your conditions, timing your plantings, and creating a realistic plan for the season ahead.
Seed Starting 101: offered at Seedy Saturday, March 21, 11-12
Get hands-on with the basics of seed starting. We’ll explore when and how to start seeds indoors, the supplies you need, lighting and watering tips, and how to set your seedlings up for a strong, healthy start. Participants will take home a small seed starting kit. Note: this session takes place in the Red Barn!
Supporting Healthy Soil: March 28, 11-12
Soil is the foundation of every thriving organic garden! Join us for a hands-on workshop focused on building healthy soils. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of healthy vs. depleted soil, understand how nutrients are stored and absorbed, and explore how environmental factors influence soil health.
