The Annual Heirloom Tomato Fest is back!
Celebrate the heirloom tomato in all its glory at the Earthwise Garden in Boundary Bay, on Sept 6 from 10 am – 2 pm where you’ll find a variety of stunning heirloom tomatoes to sample and purchase. This year, Earthwise will be offering a free garden-to-table workshop and demonstration focused on pairing heirloom tomatoes with fresh herbs. Learn how to bring out the best in your tomatoes using flavour-enhancing herb combinations, perfect for late-summer salads, bruschetta, and more. The first few guests to attend the demo will receive a bouquet of freshly harvested herbs to take home!
Coastal Olive Oils will join us as well, showcasing their fine olive oils and vinegars as the perfect complement to fresh tomatoes. And remember to drop by our Farm Cart, which will be brimming with fresh Earthwise fruits and veggies. Wrap up the day with a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Earthwise Garden to see what’s in bloom.
