EARTHWISE AGASSIZ GARDEN CLUB
The Earthwise Agassiz Garden Club is a space for anyone who loves gardening, whether you’re a seasoned grower or just getting started. It’s a chance for experienced gardeners to share knowledge, and for beginners to build confidence, learn new skills, and grow together in a supportive, community-focused setting. The Garden Club will meet bi-weekly, and each session will include hands-on learning, group discussion, and practical gardening activities, followed by some social time. Bring your lunch or a snack and connect with fellow gardeners. You’re also welcome to bring a treat to share. Coffee, tea, and cold drinks will be provided. As part of the Garden Club, we are also hosting a Speaker Series, which offers an opportunity to learn from experts on a range of gardening topics.

August 6: Earthwise Agassiz Guided Garden Tour- Take a guided walk through the new Earthwise Agassiz Garden, streamside trail, and farms to see what’s thriving this summer. Bring a friend who’s never visited before!
August 20: Bird walk and gardening for the birds
September 3: Healthy Soil- Nurturing healthy soil is the building block to organic and regenerative gardening. Let’s share strategies for optimizing soil health, composting challenges and successes, and beneficial soil organisms.
September 17: Field Trip to Chilliwack area native plant nursery, BC Wild Heritage. Here’s a chance to view hard to find native plants for your garden!
