The Pocket Market program sets up mini farmer’s markets to bring fresh organic produce to seniors’ residences in our community. Many seniors struggle with limited mobility that prevents them from attending community farmer’s markets or accessing a selection of fresh nuitritious produce.

Pocket Markets not only improve seniors’ access to fresh local produce, they provide an opportunity to meet others from their community, to learn more about local food, and to socialize. Pocket Markets offer freshly harvested organic produce from the Earthwise Farm, free produce from Shared Harvest, nutritious snacks and cooking demonstrations, craft tables, and information displays.
