Join us in the Earthwise Garden in Delta for the Earthwise Bee-Friendly Plant Sale, where you’ll find a wide selection of native, waterwise, and pollinator plants, veggie starts, and more! While you’re here, don’t miss our exciting workshops, each featuring a specially curated plant kit! Be sure to stop by our Farm Cart for fresh organic Earthwise veggies, pick up a beautiful Mother’s Day bouquet, and take part in our Silent Auction featuring some wonderful prizes sure to thrill any garden enthusiast! Master Gardeners and a Horticultural Therapist will also be available throughout the event to offer expert gardening advice. During your visit, drop by our informative tables to learn more about Earthwise Food Security Programs, Garden Buddies, and learn how your home garden can give back to the community through our Victory Garden and Shared Harvest program!
Workshop Schedule:
11 am: Planting for Pollinators (free) – Learn how to attract pollinators to your garden! Pollinator plant kits will be available for purchase, featuring blooms that attract pollinators year-round.
12:30 pm: Plant a Stir Fry Garden (free) – Grow your own stir fry ingredients- recipes included! Stir fry kits will be available for purchase, with a mix of veggie plants perfect for homegrown meals.
2 pm: Mosquito Repellent Plants (cost: $20) – Discover natural ways to keep mosquitoes away and receive a kit with mosquito-deterrent plants, a small container of beeswax salve, and a bottle of herbal bug spray made with essential oils.
